Interior Design Project 01:
A focus on wall art
This is a simply outlined space without many decoration items, a series of carefully created & selected wall arts would make it a nice place to talk to the universe.
Main Purpose:
Area decoration/renovation
Measurements:
Living Room: about 12’x14’, adjacent to southeastern facing balcony which gives bright sunlight for most of the day.
Note: the wall where the sofa was facing has a 50’’ TV set up which is not part of the design as the client’s wish.
Dining area: about 9’x9’, connecting both living room and kitchen.
The Client wanted the living room to have a blended sense of refreshing and sophistication, while the dining area calls for relaxation and entreatment, all done within a limited budget.
All pictures are on-site taken photographs.
The wall arts here also lead the way to different functionalities in the apartment. Unlike the living room wall arts, the arts on the dinning room wall beside a liquor collection cabinet give a sense of game, color, and bold. This is the time when you turn the night lights on and pour yourself a glass of wine.
